India and the US endorsed the procurement of 31 General Atomics MQ-9B HALE UAVs — 15 SeaGuardians for the Navy and 16 SkyGuardians for Army and Air Force.

Presidents Biden and Modi endorsed India's landmark procurement of 31 General Atomics MQ-9B HALE UAVs, comprising:

  • 15 SeaGuardians for the Indian Navy
  • 16 SkyGuardians split between the Army and Air Force (8 each)

The deal marks a significant expansion of India's unmanned aerial capability, and represents a major step in Indo-US defence cooperation.
