PM Modi hands over Light Combat Helicopters to IAF chief

Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally handed over indigenously built light combat helicopters (LCH), developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, to Indian Air Force Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari. During the 'Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv' event in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, Modi also presented indigenously developed drones and UAVs to Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Mukund Naravane. The LCH represents a significant achievement as the only attack helicopter that can land and take off at an altitude of 5,000 m with a considerable load of weapons and fuel.
