Procurement of 15 indigenous Light Combat Helicopters approved

The Cabinet Committee on Security, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved procurement of 15 indigenous Light Combat Helicopters (LCH) in Limited Series Production at ₹3,887 crore with ₹377 crore in infrastructure sanctions. Of these 15 aircraft, 10 will go to the Indian Air Force and 5 to the Army.
