The India-U.S. deal for 31 MQ-9B Drones
The US-India deal covers 31 MQ-9B UAVs: 15 SeaGuardians for the Indian Navy and 16 SkyGuardians split between the Army and Air Force.
U.S. President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Narendra Modi supported India's procurement of General Atomics MQ-9B High Altitude Long Endurance unmanned aerial vehicles. The agreement encompasses 31 armed UAVs: 15 SeaGuardians designated for the Indian Navy, alongside 16 SkyGuardians—with eight allocated to each of the Indian Army and Air Force respectively.
