Tribute to Air Marshal PM Ramachandran

Air Marshal Palamadai Muthuswamy Ramachandran (4973) F(P) PVSM AVSM SC VM passed away on May 6, 2021. The tribute, written by Group Captain Ajit Agtey VM (IAF, Retd), celebrates Ramachandran's distinguished career. Ramachandran rose to become Vice Chief of the IAF. His military education included the Experimental Test Pilot Course at Farnborough (1962). For bravery during 1962 Goa operations, he received the Shaurya Chakra and Vayu Sena Medal. The tribute notes Ramachandran's extensive knowledge of the DARIN architecture and philosophy proved invaluable to project success during Jaguar aircraft testing at ASTE.
